Bred tortoises, besides Testudo marginata albina, are Testudo marginata sarda, Testudo hermanni hermanni sarda, Testudo hermanni hermanni toscana e Testudo greca ibera.

Among these species and subspecies, specimen with cites are available.

In 2004 are obtained some hybrid specimen between vital female Testudo greca ibera and male Testudo marginata albina with a very particular and nice pigment.
